Provider Resources
Through our HRSA Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) grant (T94HP30904), we have developed educational modules to train providers to deliver care using telehealth technology.
- Fundamentals of Care Delivery in Telehealth – will guide you through the knowledge and skills for delivering patient care via telehealth.
- Teledermatology: What Primary Care Providers Need to Know – discusses practical considerations in offering teledermatology services and how to provide optimal care.
- Telehospice: Use of Telehealth in Hospice – explains the current use and potential applications for using telehealth in this setting.
The UW Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine Department has developed a series of lectures and didactic materials on how to manage chronic pain.
CDC launched two new opioid trainings that support providers in safer prescribing of opioids for chronic pain. The modules are part of a series of interactive online trainings that feature recommendations from the CDC Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain.
Preceptor Resources
This collection of tools and resources was created to support preceptors and enhance clinical learning. The Toolkit covers the fundamentals of teaching in a clinical setting and provides guidance for introducing students to interprofessional, team-based practice. Tools and resources included in the toolkit were specifically chosen to help busy preceptors become proficient at teaching strategies that enhance clinical learning, and help ensure positive learning experiences for both preceptors and students alike.
